Help the PPLRA

If you’re a leaseholder or a tenant at Pan Peninsula, and would like to help the Pan Peninsula Leaseholders and Residents Association, we would love to hear from you!

  • You can offer as much or as little time as you can spare
  • You don’t need to join the committee

We have an ambitious agenda to make a difference at Pan Peninsula, but we cannot achieve our goals without the support of more residents. Can you help us? Anyone can help, but we have specific needs in the following areas:

Skill Areas

Membership Campaigners

PPLRA needs to grow its membership so that we represent the majority of leaseholders. In addition to UK-based owners, there are some 300 offshore leaseholders, many in Asia, with whom we need to communicate. Can you help us to contact owners who don’t yet belong to the PPLRA? We need a small team to track down all of our owners and ask them to sign up.

Capital-raising, banking, crowdfunding

The PPLRA has multiple options to deliver value for leaseholders, but they all require some level of funding. We would love to hear from any leaseholder/resident with experience in capital-raising, crowdfunding, property finance etc.

Property Lawyers

Ideally, we need the support of a solicitor to guide the PPLRA Committee in our relationship with Ballymore and to explore legal options under leasehold legislation. If you can help us, or know someone else who might, please get in touch.

Engineers/Surveyors

Pan Peninsula is a complex building with multiple services and systems. There are huge issues with service quality, outages, capital expenditure, procurement, etc. Do you have the professional expertise to contribute in this area? If so, we would love to hear from you.

Insurance Professionals

Can you work with the PPLRA and Ballymore to reduce the insurance premiums for Pan Peninsula? Can you advise the RA on claims? We would love to hear from anyone with insurance expertise.

Auditors/Accountants

The law gives us extensive powers to demand invoices and other documents from our managing agent. With the assistance of some experienced accountants/auditors we could exercise these rights, gaining valuable insights into the costs that Ballymore charges to our leaseholders. If you have financial/audit training and can spare some time to help us, please get in touch.

HR Professionals

Pan Peninsula has around 60 employees and a £2.0m annual HR cost. Please let us know if you have HR management experience and would like to work with the RA to make a difference in this area.

Let’s build something great together!

Get in touch with us now if you have these skills and the time to contribute.
